The role involves managing corporate documentation, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, supporting transactional workstreams, and developing scalable workflows to enhance legal processes. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an in-house legal, corporate paralegal, or legal operations role
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing corporate documents, LLC structures, and legal recordkeeping
• Familiarity with business licensing, permits, and compliance tracking across multiple jurisdictions
• Ability to interpret LLC Operating Agreements and support entity governance functions
• Experience working in high-growth, multi-entity environments, preferably with PE-backed companies
• Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Proficiency with legal tech tools such as Notion, Airtable, or similar workflow automation systems

• AI fluency with active experience in leveraging AI tools to improve workflows (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with outside counsel and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized repositories for contracts, corporate records, and legal documents across the organization
• Oversee entity formations, governance, and filings, including annual reports and franchise taxes
• Track and support compliance with licensing, permits, and insurance requirements across jurisdictions
• Support transaction workstreams such as lien searches, legal filings, and real estate lease management
• Collaborate with external counsel on legal matters, subpoenas, and corporate transactions
• Build, implement, and optimize legal workflows, compliance calendars, and trackers that utilize AI tools
• Develop standard operating procedures for legal and compliance processes and identify automation opportunities
• Manage and improve legal data systems to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and scalability as the organization grows
• Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement and automate recurring legal tasks
