Job summary

Hydro-Gear is seeking a paralegal to support its in-house legal team in Franklin, TN. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll manage the legal intake, NDAs, COIs, and contracts, partnering with Legal Counsel to develop playbooks and SOPs, while maintaining precise records. Requirements include 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience and a bachelor’s degree; a paralegal certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Paralegal certificate or Legal Studies background is a plus.
• Experience with NDAs, contracts, COIs and records management.
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal intake process, workflow tracking, and record maintenance to ensure timely handling of requests in accordance with established processes.
• Partner with Legal Counsel to develop and maintain legal playbooks, standard operating procedures, and internal compliance guidance.
• Oversee Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) management, including preparation, tracking, execution, and record maintenance.
• Administer contracts by monitoring key milestones, expiration dates, renewal deadlines, and compliance requirements.
• Manage intake and fulfillment of Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests from customers and vendors and liaise with insurance brokers to issue certificates.
