Allied Universal, a leading security services provider in New York, seeks a Security Officer - Corporate Office in New York, NY. You will act as a front desk presence, monitor access, and support a safe, welcoming environment across multiple tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying IDs, responding to incidents, and maintaining professional conduct. The role requires a NYS Security Guard License, Spanish fluency, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a New York State Security Guard License.
• Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Manage front desk operations: greet visitors, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and report unusual activity or policy violations to relevant personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with directing visitors, handling routine inquiries, receiving deliveries, and maintaining a professional front desk presence.
