EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED AS CORPORATE MERCHANDISING MANAGER:

• Communicate goals and tasks provided by senior leadership to corporate merchandisers on the category team.
• Assist multiple departments and oversee all aspects of specific product merchandising throughout the company, including pricing, ordering, entering information into Storis, inspection, and tagging of merchandise, handling damages and credits, inventory counts, marking down merchandise and reordering based on sales trends.
• Organize and monitor all product orders and provide regular reporting.
• Provide training for new corporate merchandisers on your team.
• Organize competitive displays based on style and price point.
• Ensure new product launches are coordinated with marketing and all sales support including point of purchase material.
• Assist merchandisers throughout the company in dealings with warehouse, accounting, customer service and all other departments in any situations regarding assigned product.
• Provide sales managers with information and training.
• Provide Marketing with products to advertise.
• Report on success of any given promotion.
• Walk the floor weekly at the Oklahoma City location and work closely with team members to assess needs and to implement any plans provided by senior leadership.
• Any other duties as requested by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS AS CORPORATE MERCHANDISING MANAGER:

Ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs.; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; advanced knowledge of Mathis products, specifically accessories; ability to work within provided budget restraints when ordering new products; knowledge of employment and safety procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license required with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor climate-controlled environment.
