Job summary

Lennox International seeks a motivated Corporate Marketing and Communications intern to help organize communication calendars and develop strategic plans. You will write and edit content for internal audiences and support intranet and internal news communications.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field with strong writing and MS Office skills. This is an hourly non-exempt role with relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred majors: actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• Required technical skills: strong writing, collaboration, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and maintaining communication calendars to support internal messaging initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to develop communication strategies and tactics that support organizational objectives.
• Create, write, and edit communication materials including written content, presentations, videos, and employee-facing resources.
• Support management, maintenance, and enhancement of intranet content and internal news communications.
• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of communications targeted to a global employee audience.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, imagery, and corporate identity across internal channels.

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Markeing and Communications inter to join our Corporate Marketing and Communications team. This role will support corporate marketing efforts by helping organize and maintain communication calendars, assisting in developing strategic communication plans, and creating compelling content that informs and engages our internal audiences.

Successful interns will have the potential opportunity of joining Lennox Full-Time upon graduation. Relocation and/or travel may be required for your position.

Potential Project Scope(s)

What We Are Looking For

Preferred Majors: Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong writing skills.
• Highly collaborative with a desire to learn in a professional environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.80 – $22.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
