Lennox is offering an internship in its Corporate Accounting team, providing hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis. You will engage in process improvements and work with senior leaders to develop practical accounting skills.

Successful interns may join Lennox full-time after graduation. The role may require relocation or travel and offers a competitive hourly pay rate with potential overtime per state law.

This internship provides hands-on experience within the Corporate Accounting team, supporting key financial processes including month-end close activities, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will develop a strong understanding of corporate accounting practices, internal controls, and financial systems while collaborating with team members to deliver accurate and meaningful financial support.

Potential Projects

• Assist in the preparation and completion of balance sheet reconciliations, including supporting schedules and documentation.
• Support month-end close activities through journal entry analysis, preparation, and validation.
• Contribute to the documentation, evaluation, and enhancement of accounting processes and internal control procedures.
• Perform data validation, reporting, and process automation support utilizing Excel and other financial tools and systems.
• Lead a designated summer project, culminating in a presentation of findings, insights, and recommendations to the Corporate Accounting team.

What We Are Looking For

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.

Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial data.

What We Offer

Compensation:

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.80 - $22.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
