Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Legal Expert for Corporate M&A to work remotely on a contract basis. You will review and QC legal documents, assess diligence memos, and support disclosure schedules across multiple deals.

Ideal candidates have proven corporate M&A experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This remote contract role offers flexible hours and exposure to high-profile transactions.

• Adjudicate public commentary against task prompts and grading rubrics.
• Complete structural QC across prompts, rubrics, and source documents.
• Conduct data-room red flag reviews, diligence memos, and disclosure schedules.
• Handle SPA-related tasks with 10-100 source documents each.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
