The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, a paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in MS Office and legal case management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Experience supporting employment law matters, civil litigation, and legal records management.
• Working knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and document preservation requirements.
• Experience coordinating with outside counsel and managing multiple active legal matters.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain litigation, claims, subpoena, and administrative matter files and records.
• Track and monitor response deadlines, discovery schedules, hearings, settlements, and other key litigation milestones.
• Coordinate service of process and support all phases of litigation, including holds, collection, discovery, and productions.
• Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, insurance carriers, outside counsel, and third-party vendors.
• Process and administer employee garnishments in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
• Assist attorneys with case management, reporting, and legal documentation.
• Support employment-related claims, agency charges, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Coordinate collection and organization of personnel files and employment-related records.
