WC Smith is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Leasing Specialist to join our Property Management team in Washington, DC. This role oversees the full leasing cycle across our residential portfolio, from inquiry through move-in, focusing on lead management, applications, and occupancy goals.

The candidate will review applications for conventional and subsidized housing, maintain leasing data in Yardi and CRM IQ, and apply DC Rent Control and LIHTC knowledge throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible residential leasing experience.
• Strong knowledge of DC Rent Control, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and subsidized housing programs.
• Proficiency in Yardi and CRM IQ.
• Strong leasing and sales ability with excellent follow-up, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full leasing process from inquiry to move-in with emphasis on prospect engagement and conversion.
• Provide centralized leasing support across multiple WC Smith communities for vacancies, leads, applications, and occupancy goals.
• Review and process applications for conventional, rent-controlled, Tax Credit, and subsidized housing programs.
• Maintain accurate prospect, applicant, and leasing activity in Yardi and CRM IQ.
• Apply knowledge of DC Rent Control, LIHTC/Tax Credit, subsidy programs, and Fair Housing in leasing.
• Collaborate with Community Managers and Leadership to identify needs and resolve issues in the leasing pipeline.
• Deliver high-level customer service while managing multiple priorities across communities.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

WC Smith is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Leasing Specialist to join our Property Management team at our Corporate Office in Washington, DC. This position will serve as a key leasing resource across our residential portfolio, providing hands-on support to communities with leasing, lead management, applicant processing, and occupancy initiatives. We are looking for a strong, results-driven leasing professional who can confidently manage the leasing process, maintain consistent prospect follow-up, and navigate the requirements of both conventional and affordable housing. The successful candidate will step into the role with a solid understanding of leasing operations, housing programs, and property management systems while effectively supporting multiple communities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

The Corporate Leasing Specialist will:

• Manage the full leasing process from initial inquiry through application, approval, and move-in, with a strong focus on prospect engagement, follow-up, and conversion.
• Provide centralized leasing support across multiple WC Smith communities to assist with vacancies, lead management, applications, and occupancy goals.
• Review and process applications and supporting documentation for conventional, rent-controlled, Tax Credit, and subsidized housing programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely prospect, applicant, and leasing activity in Yardi and CRM IQ.
• Apply working knowledge of DC Rent Control, LIHTC/Tax Credit, subsidy programs, and Fair Housing requirements throughout the leasing process.
• Partner with Community Managers and Property Management leadership to identify leasing needs, resolve application issues, and keep prospects moving efficiently through the leasing pipeline.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and communities.

A Leading candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible residential leasing experience required.
• Demonstrated success managing the full leasing cycle, including lead follow-up, tours, applications, qualification, approvals, and move-ins.
• Strong working knowledge of DC Rent Control, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and subsidized housing programs required.
• Proficiency in Yardi and CRM IQ required.
• Strong leasing and sales ability with excellent follow-up, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a high volume of activity, and shift priorities while supporting multiple communities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review leasing and applicant documentation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
