Job summary

Our client is an established NYC residential real estate and property management organization seeking a Junior Property Manager for new development projects in New York. The role supports a senior Property Manager overseeing luxury condominium and cooperative properties, primarily newer developments.

The position is onsite in New York, NY with 90 days onsite, then transitioning to a hybrid schedule. Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in residential property management, condo/co-op experience, and

Qualifications

  • Approximately 1-3+ years of relevant experience within residential property management, real estate operations, construction administration, or a related environment
  • Condo and/or co-op property management experience REQUIRED
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, property-management systems, and project-tracking tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with properties at varying stages of development and operation, including construction, pre-occupancy, turnover, initial move-ins, and stabilized operations
  • Coordinate with developers, Boards, attorneys, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, building staff, and residents
  • Track outstanding construction, turnover, warranty, punch-list, and operational items
  • Maintain project timelines, transition checklists, action-item logs, and property documentation
  • Assist with building turnover and the transition from developer/sponsor control into active residential management
  • Organize warranties, permits, contracts, plans, operating manuals, building-system documentation, and other closeout materials
  • Prepare Board packages, agendas, reports, meeting materials, and resident communications
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, COIs, contracts, proposals, and ongoing vendor coordination
  • Support invoice processing, expenses, budgeting, and financial-report review
  • Maintain governing documents, offering plans, amendments, house rules, Board resolutions, and building policies
  • Help coordinate move-ins, amenity openings, resident orientations, inspections, and other building initiatives
  • Track permits, insurance documentation, compliance requirements, and outstanding property affairs
  • Attend property visits, project meetings, Board meetings, and turnover meetings as needed

Location: New York, NY | Onsite for first 90 days, then hybrid

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Junior Property Manager to support a senior Property Manager overseeing a portfolio luxury condominium and cooperative properties, primarily consisting of newer residential developments.

This is a corporate, portfolio-based position ideal for someone who has gained hands-on experience within residential property management and is ready to take on greater ownership. The Junior Property Manager will work closely with the senior Property Manager and broader support team to help manage day-to-day operations, project coordination, building transitions, resident matters, and ongoing property needs across multiple buildings.
