Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking an Aircraft Captain to hold final authority as PIC and provide expert support as SIC when assigned. You will manage safe, efficient operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering an exceptional passenger experience.

Key duties include flight planning, weight and balance, weather analysis, and coordinating air and ground crews to achieve on-time departures while prioritizing safety.

Qualifications

• 2,000 hrs total fixed-wing aviation experience.
• 1,000 hrs PIC (pilot in command).
• 500 hrs turbojet experience.
• ATP with multiengine land; FCC radiotelephone permit.
• FAA medical (Class 1 or 2).
• Type rating in company aircraft or ability to complete factory training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PIC or SIC as assigned; exercise full operational authority when PIC.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness and maintain preflight documentation; resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and file flight plans; conduct weight & balance, fuel, and performance calculations.
• Evaluate weather and determine routings and contingencies for safe operations.
• Use checklists and MEL to ensure standard procedures; lead air and ground crews.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure passenger safety and comfort.
