Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a Captain to lead flight operations from KSAT-area bases, ensuring safety, compliance, and outstanding service for clients. The role requires extensive multi-aircraft experience and current Gulfstream type ratings.

Aircraft handling, meticulous pre-flight checks, and coordination with maintenance teams are essential. You must reside within two hours of KSAT or be willing to relocate; ICAO training is required annually.

Qualifications

• Total flight time of 3,000 hours with 1,500 hours as PIC.
• MEL time 1,500 hours including 500 hours MEL PIC.
• Current type rating(s) in Gulfstream G150 and Global 5000, or in a comparable aircraft.

• Review aircraft maintenance status and determine airworthiness prior to dispatch.
• Complete thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved AFM.
• Plan routes and alternates; evaluate weather, NOTAMs, and facilities along the route and at destination/alternate airports.
• Maintain strict compliance with Solairus policies, procedures, and applicable FARs.
• Uphold exceptional service standards while meeting clients’ travel needs with discretion and integrity.
• Accurately complete all trip documentation and operational paperwork.
• Participate in a culture that emphasizes teamwork, excellence, safety, service, and integrity.
