Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and surveying firm, seeks an Interior Designer to lead design and documentation across a range of project types. You will manage programming, space planning, schematic design, and construction documents while collaborating with architects and engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in interior design, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of interior design experience.
• NCDIQ certification preferred.
• Experience in maintaining client relationships.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and delivery of the interior aspects of a project, including programming client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.
• Provide design support and documentation from concept to completion including 3D development, graphic presentation, and construction documents.
