Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice; BLS certification.
• 5+ years nursing experience with 3+ years in ER/ICU/occupational health/urgent care.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of case management, workers' compensation, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care for occupational and non-occupational health conditions following evidence-based protocols.
• Coordinate health promotion initiatives including screenings, assessments, immunizations and travel consultations; manage accommodations and ergonomic requests.
• Document encounters in EHR and maintain confidentiality of health information.
• Develop effective employee relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Uphold compliance with OSHA and safety/environmental guidelines and proper medical waste disposal.

JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers are onsite ambulatory clinics located within 21 of our U.S. corporate campuses. Thousands of employees visit JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers each year for a variety of services which include urgent/emergent care, travel health consultation, injections, biometric screening, labs, health coaching and health education.

As a Corporate Health Nurse within the JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers, you will utilize your excellent clinical and assessment skills to provide a variety of health services to our employees. You will have the opportunity to deliver professional nursing care, promote health awareness and education, and support the overall strategies of the U.S. Health Services function.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care for the management of occupational and non-occupational health conditions, adhering to evidence-based, symptom-focused established protocols
• Coordinate and implement health promotion initiatives including health screenings, health assessments, health-related counseling/education, immunizations and travel consultations; Manage work accommodation and ergonomic case requests
• Document all encounters in electronic health record system and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all health information
• Develop effective employee relationships that engender confidence in the care and/or advice provided
• Demonstrate respect for JPMorgan Chase employees, staff, colleagues and management team; Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, community partners and Health Services co-workers/providers
• Uphold compliance with nursing audit protocols, universal standards for personal protection, OSHA and safety/environmental guidelines for storage and use of medical supplies as well as proper medical waste disposal procedures according to federal, state and local regulations
• Attain high level of employee satisfaction as demonstrated through verbal and written feedback as well as employee satisfaction survey

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• License & education requirements: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state(s) of employment/practice; if eligible, multi-state/ compact RN license; current BLS certification; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• Work experience: 5+ years of nursing experience with minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in emergency room, critical care, occupational health, urgent care or ambulatory clinic environment(s); strong overall clinical and nursing judgment skills
• Proficiency in and attention to detail with electronic health record software and Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of case management (such as work accommodations and ergonomics), workers' compensation and governmental regulations
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to adapt working/communication style
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to work within a fast-paced corporate environment; able to elevate when appropriate
• Ability to work in-person five days a week on an 8am-5pm schedule and rotate across assigned clinics depending on business need

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• Certification in Occupational Health, Ambulatory Care, Case Management or Health Coaching, a plus
