Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Corporate Float RN to provide on-site coverage across GLM senior living communities. This full-time RN will travel between Minnesota and Wisconsin locations to support staffing, participate in training, and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, quality assurance, and collaboration with site leaders, with an hourly pay of $42–$45 and a Monday–Friday schedule, plus mileage reimbursement and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Current MN RN license in good standing.
• Current WI RN license in good standing or willing to be licensed in WI.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care, with staff supervision.
• Strong organizational, teaching, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with electronic health record systems and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Passion for serving older adults and promoting quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site RN coverage at GLM senior living communities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations related to resident services.
• Complete resident assessments and update service plans following changes in condition, falls, or incidents.
• Investigate medication errors, incidents, or concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with site leaders to promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and assist in survey preparation and response.

This role plays a key part in supporting clinical excellence, quality assurance, and staff development across our Assisted Living communities.

About the Role

This position travels between GLM communities to provide RN coverage and support during staff transitions, vacations, or leaves, and assists with skills training, service delivery audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site RN coverage at GLM senior living communities as needed.

Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations related to resident services.

Complete resident assessments and update service plans following changes in condition, falls, or incidents.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

Ability to travel between GLM communities throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and manage the emotional demands of caregiving.

Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
