Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Columbus, OH is offering a Corporate Finance Intern position as part of the 2027 Summer Internship Program. The 12-week rotation provides hands-on experience across Retail Analytics, FP&A, and Internal Audit, with about four weeks in each team to build broad exposure to the Corporate Finance organization.

You'll develop financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business planning skills while collaborating with cross-functional partners, and you may explore part-time

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Proven teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
• Demonstrates sound judgment and applies logical thinking when creating solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of how financial and business data is used to support decision‑making, evaluate performance, identify trends, and provide insights across the organization
• Gain hands‑on experience with financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business planning while learning how Finance partners with teams across the company
• Collaborate with Finance and cross‑functional business partners across areas such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, and other key functions

Marzetti is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program!

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in a 12-week rotational internship program across Retail Analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Internal Audit, spending approximately four weeks with each team to gain broad exposure to the Corporate Finance organization.
• Develop an understanding of how financial and business data is used to support decision‑making, evaluate performance, identify trends, and provide insights across the organization.
• Gain hands‑on experience with financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business planning while learning how Finance partners with teams across the company.
• Build exposure to retail and business analytics, including organizing, interpreting, and evaluating data to better understand business performance, marketplace trends, and opportunities.
• Learn the fundamentals of internal audit, risk management, internal controls, and business processes while gaining an enterprise‑wide perspective of how the organization operates.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross‑functional business partners across areas such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, and other key functions.
• Strengthen technical and professional capabilities, including Excel, data analysis, critical thinking, problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills, while gaining exposure to additional analytics and reporting tools.
• Participate in team meetings, training, networking, and professional development opportunities while asking thoughtful questions, incorporating feedback, taking initiative, and building an understanding of potential career paths across Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:
