Greystar, headquartered in Charleston, SC, seeks a Corporate Finance professional to underwrite and manage portfolios, forecast cash, and coordinate reporting for investor and bondholder communications.

The role interfaces with affiliates on fundraising and investment reporting, supports the CFO and CEO with Q&A materials, and prepares Board updates and equity plan packages. Strong finance fundamentals and AI proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• 1–2 years of experience in banking, finance or accounting with interest in commercial real estate and corporate finance.
• Strong quantitative background with financial modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude) to streamline workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting and portfolio management of employee coinvestment funds, including reforecasting, semi-annual fund reporting, cash forecasting and distribution governance.
• Interfacing with external affiliates for fundraising and investment reporting in real estate ventures and parent company.
• Support in reviewing quarterly external financial reporting to bondholders and CFO prep.
• Prepare quarterly Board updates and ad hoc memorandums.
• Prepare quarterly performance packages for Employee Equity Ownership Plan.
• Review Rating Agency opinions and prepare materials for meetings or transactions.
• Support 409A valuation process, including documentation and Board memo creation.
• Assist with capital markets transactions like refinancing bonds or line of credit renegotiations.
• Track capital allocation initiatives and create presentations for Capital Allocation Committee.
