Job summary

NBCUniversal in New York, NY is seeking a Corporate Events Associate to support high-impact events and department operations. You will interface with internal partners, manage event logistics, and begin leading smaller events with oversight.

The role requires 2-4 years in events or related fields, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Hybrid schedule with four days in office and domestic/international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in events, hospitality, entertainment or related fields.
• Proven ability to execute event logistics and administrative functions with independence and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact with internal partners on events, planning meetings, organizing agendas and meeting recaps.
• Manage guest communications for events, coordinating travel, answering attendee questions, and troubleshooting registration issues.
• Own the invitation and RSVP process for events, maintaining accurate guest lists across multiple simultaneous programs.
• Serve as a resource on the department's registration platforms, supporting setup and troubleshooting.
• Assist in the production of digital and print event collateral.
• Begin leading smaller-scale events with oversight from a senior team member.
• Travel regularly to support events across the country and internationally.
• Track domestic and international shipments; liaise with FedEx and other couriers to resolve delivery issues.
