Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance throughout facilities and lead environmental program development.
• Collaborate with plant EHS Generalists and other EHS professionals.
• Support site operations to maintain air quality permits and reporting.
• Coordinate with Corporate EHS Director on strategy and compliance programs.

Job description

Absolutely must have technical expertise managing major air source Title V part 70 operating permit experience (permitting and reporting).

Scope of role:

Seeking an Environmental Manager (individual contributor position with no direct reports) for a heavy industrial manufacturing company (welding, blasting and painting operations) that will support (1000) employees at (3) production sites (KY, TN and MO). Travel requirements 40-50% when needed. Oversee regulatory compliance throughout the facilities and responsible for leading the continuing development of their environmental systems.

This position will report into the Corporate EHS Director, and each facility has an EHS professional (more safety focused) that will manage their day-to-day environmental compliance needs. This Environmental Manager will work closely with these plant level, EHS Generalists.
