Job summary

Jabil, a global manufacturing leader, seeks a Corporate EHS Specialist / Auditor to drive environmental, health, and safety programs across US and LATAM sites. The role can be onsite with substantial travel or remote US with 50%+ travel, focusing on audits, governance, and continuous EHS maturity.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in a related field, 3–5 years EHS experience, and ISO 14001/45001 expertise. Travel is expected across the region as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is required.
  • ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
  • On the path/working towards professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM is desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in EHS within a global or multinational manufacturing environment; onsite EHS experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS Management Systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Corporate EHS Auditor and SME to support governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in the Corporate Audit Team to develop lean processes for EHS assessments.
  • Support the EHS Assessment Program, evaluating site performance against standards and local regulations.
  • Maintain EHS management system documentation related to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and corporate standards.
  • Facilitate cross-site sharing of best practices and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for EHS professionals, including auditor development.
  • Support regulatory forecasting and evaluation for Jabil sites globally.
  • Partner with Global EHS Leadership Team to communicate regulatory trends and compliance strategies.
  • Develop understanding of Corporate EHS information systems and tools.
  • Maintain familiarity with Corporate EHS standards and supporting documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Corporate EHS Specialist / EHS Auditor
Based onsite at one of the US manufacturing locations listed or Remote US with 50%+ travel.

As a member of the Corporate EHS Team, the Corporate EHS Specialist will provide subject matter expertise and support to Jabil manufacturing sites across the US and Latin America. This role is responsible for driving Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures, programs, processes, and systems that advance the organization's EHS performance and maturity. The successful candidate will also serve as a Corporate EHS Auditor, supporting internal governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What can you expect to do?
  • Serve as a Corporate EHS Auditor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) as requested to support internal governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate as an active member of the Corporate Audit Team, helping develop and optimize lean processes for Jabil Corporate EHS Assessments.
  • Support the Corporate EHS Assessment Program, which evaluates site performance against corporate standards and local regulatory requirements while creating a roadmap for continual maturity improvement.
  • Maintain EHS management system documentation related to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, corporate standards, and other applicable governance frameworks.
  • Facilitate cross-site and cross-regional sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training and capability-building programs for EHS professionals, including auditor qualification and development programs.
  • Support the EHS regulatory forecasting and evaluation process for Jabil sites globally.
  • Partner closely with the Global EHS Leadership Team to communicate regulatory trends, assess business impacts, and support compliance strategies.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Corporate EHS information systems and tools, including their functionality, requirements, and application.
  • Maintain familiarity with all Corporate EHS technical standards, procedures, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field required.
  • ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
  • On the path/working towards any professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), within a global or multinational manufacturing environment. Must have onsite EHS experience.
  • Demonstrated EHS auditing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS Management Systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation, management, and auditing practices.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees at all organizational levels, including executives, managers, and individual contributors.
  • Advanced knowledge of environmental, occupational health, safety, and technical compliance requirements within a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel throughout the US and LATAM 50%+ of the time.

The pay range for this role is $79,400 - $142,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: December 31, 2026.As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
