Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks a Director/Manager of Development Engineering for sensors to lead the creation of sensor products for the U.S. and worldwide markets. The role focuses on electronic products, embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware, guiding electrical, firmware, mechanical and systems teams to success.

The position requires managing U.S. and global engineering groups and a strong business development mindset for sensors and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing engineering groups across U.S. and global teams
• Strong business development understanding for sensors and customer contact
• Experience with sensor product ecosystems and embedded firmware
• Ability to drive cross-disciplinary sensor projects from concept to launch

• Seeking a Director / Manager of Development Engineering for sensors.
• Should have a diverse applications for sensors such as automotive, commercial vehicle, off road, industrial or adjacent markets.
• Should have management of engineering groups for both U.S. and globally.
• Should have a good understanding of business development for sensors and customer contact.

Duties:

• You will lead the development of sensor products for the U.S. and global markets.
• This will include developing electronic-based products, incorporating embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware.
• Will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to include electrical, firmware, mechanical and systems engineering disciplines.
• Must be willing to relocate to Rockford, IL (Janesville, WI)
