Job summary

American Dining Creations, a division of American Food & Vending, seeks a Chef to lead culinary experiences for business dining. This role blends culinary artistry with kitchen management to ensure top-quality food, safety, and service in a fast-paced environment.

The Chef will plan menus, supervise food preparation, and ensure customer satisfaction while leading a team and coordinating events; occasional travel may be required for company events and catering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Culinary Degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar culinary position in Retail, Education, Business Dining, Sports Arena, or Hotel industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Catering systems experience preferred.
• Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute menus: Breakfast, Lunch, Catering, Special Events, Concessions; modify based on food trends, costs, patron requests, and seasonal availability.
• Weekly inventory, knowledge of on-line purchasing, cost control and catering systems.
• Minimize food waste through effective planning and storage techniques.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the kitchen environment.
• Hiring employees, staff development, managing work schedules and labor costs.
• Superior customer service skills are required; will interact daily with our guests and clients.
• May assist with special corporate projects or events.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
