Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related analytics field.
• 3+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or corporate development.
• Advanced financial modeling in Excel and ability to craft executive presentations.

Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.The Corporate Development team is responsible for generating, managing, and executing mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, partnership, and capital formation activities. As part of a small team responsible for originating, executing, and supporting acquisitions and other transactions, you'll work to advance Blue Origin’s mission via strategic deals. You will work closely with our business units, including New Glenn and TeraWave , as well as our Operations organization, to identify inorganic growth opportunities.You will support the Senior Director of Corporate Development and senior leadership team by conducting industry research, investment analysis, due diligence, acquisition term sheets and contract negotiations, and both internal and external relationship building. Passion for our mission and vision is required !Responsibilities:Help identify opportunities which support Blue Origin’s strategic priorities through interaction with senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investment bankers, and organic pipeline generationSupport investor and capital-formation activities by preparing materials and analyses that inform Blue Origin's relationships with private capital partnersAct as a subject matter expert on financial analysis, deal structuring, synergy forecasting, valuation, and due diligence of potential acquisitionsSupport cross-functional due diligence teams, including legal, finance & accounting, tax, human resources, operations, IT, EHS, sales, and strategySupport deal flow process from term sheet signature to integrationHelp evaluate opportunities and risks in potential transactionsPerform research, reporting and analysis on investment activity in the industryPresent investment thesis memos and recommendations for all stages of the deal process (sourcing to integration planning)Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance measurementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in business , finance, economics, or related analytical field3+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or venture capital; corporate development; or private capital fundraising / investor relations, including financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation experienceExperience preparing investor-facing materials and translating financial and strategic analysis into clear narratives for external capital partners and senior stakeholdersExperience crafting and analyzing M&A processes for a wide variety of transactionsAdvanced financial modeling in Excel and the ability to build executive-quality presentations and investment materialsProficiency with AI tools including leading LLM’s and harnesses; ability to use AI to make new toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired:Mix of sell-side and buy-side M&A experienceExperience in the space industry or another capital intensive, manufacturing or R&D oriented industryExperience with early-stage startupsInterest or exposure to investor relations, capital formation, or fundraising - particularly from private capital sourcesBase Pay Range for:WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
