Blue Origin is seeking a Deputy Director GS2 Gen 1.X Upgrades for New Glenn to lead programmatic health, strategy translation, and cross-functional execution. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure schedule adherence, budget control, and risk mitigation across design, verification, and production phases.

The role requires 12+ years in engineering or technical program management, strong communication, and a proven track record in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, with a preference

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Aerospace is preferred.
• MBA or MS in Engineering Management, or comparable experience is a plus.

Your primary focus will be on programmatic health and ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with New Glenn program priorities.In this role, you connect technical teams with program leadership. You translate strategy into executable plans, track performance, and resolve issues before they become problems. You will act as a trusted advisor and force multiplier for the Director by owning programmatic processes, tools, and coordination efforts.
