Job summary

Nirvana Insurance is seeking a corporate development professional to join a high-visibility team in San Francisco. You will build financial models for acquisitions and partnerships, lead due diligence, and track deal flow, supporting executive and board-level decisions in a fast-growing InsureTech environment.

You will work closely with finance, insurance, and claims leadership, owning analysis and materials for deal discussions while guiding execution from evaluation to close.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Self-starter who independently seeks out opportunities to learn & succeed.
• Bias-to-action and willingness to work hands-on in a fast-growing InsureTech environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships, including valuation, returns, and scenario analysis.
• Support due diligence processes across financial, commercial, and operational workstreams, coordinating with internal teams and outside advisors.
• Track the deal pipeline and sourcing initiatives, including market mapping and target screening across the MGA, claims, and data sectors.
• Prepare materials and analysis for executive and board-level discussions, including investment memos and transaction summaries.
• Support deal execution from initial evaluation through closing, helping manage timelines, diligence requests, and integration planning.

• Reporting to our Head of Corporate Development, you’ll be a core member of Nirvana’s newly formed Corporate Development team, supporting M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships across the insurance value chain
• You’ll work closely with Strategic Finance, Insurance and Claims leadership, and your work will directly inform executive and board-level decisions
• This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants hands‑on deal experience at a fast-growing InsureTech company and the chance to take on more ownership as the function grows
