Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Corporate Chef to support Marketing, Merchandising and Sales with fresh and foodservice expertise. You will train the sales team on trends, item specs, program elements and food preparation while partnering with senior executives on menu concepts.

You will lead culinary education across the organization, design customer menus, develop new ideas, and travel up to 50% to client sites and trade shows as part of Core-Mark’s growth strategy in the foodservice

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or Hotel/Restaurant Management.
• 5–8 years industry experience in foodservice wholesale or retail.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to present virtually.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Adobe.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train staff through seminars and events.
• Promote food service at retail with merchandising and sell-through examples.
• Increase knowledge of branded items and programs for customers.
• Design customer menus and develop new ideas.
• Plan and conduct on-site and off-site training with division sales teams.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Develop training manuals and job aids for education on programs.
• Represent Core-Mark at internal and external trade shows in fresh and food service.
