• Solid quantitative and analytical skills with a fundamental understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple assignments in a professional environment.
• Prior internship experience in banking, finance, accounting, investment management, or a related field is beneficial but not required.

Aufgaben

• Participate in a structured learning experience designed to develop a foundational understanding of corporate credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Work alongside experienced underwriters to gain exposure to the credit assessment process, including financial analysis, industry research, transaction structures, and risk identification.
• Assist with selected components of live credit underwriting assignments under the guidance and supervision of senior team members.
• Develop practical financial analysis skills through exposure to financial statements, key credit metrics, cash flow analysis, leverage, liquidity, and capital structures.
• Gain familiarity with credit applications, transaction materials, and other documentation used to evaluate and approve corporate credit exposures.
• Participate in discussions with underwriters and other risk professionals to understand how credit risks, structural considerations, and mitigants are evaluated.
• Support ad hoc projects, including portfolio analytics, industry and sector research, market updates, process improvements, and other Credit Risk initiatives.
• Gain exposure to ongoing portfolio monitoring activities, including periodic credit reviews, financial performance updates, and identification of emerging risks.
• Participate in meetings and learning opportunities with Corporate Banking, Product, Legal, and other internal partners to develop a broader understanding of the corporate banking business.
• Receive ongoing coaching and feedback from senior team members and develop the analytical, communication, and professional skills required for a potential career in corporate credit risk.
