Job summary

BBVA Global Markets is seeking a Summer Analyst in New York for a 10-week internship designed for high-potential undergraduates. You will work alongside seasoned professionals across Sales, Trading, Structuring, Capital Markets, and Strategy.

In this role you will conduct market research, assist with financial analysis and modeling, prepare materials, and contribute to client solutions while developing you professional network and understanding of risk management within Global Markets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with expected graduation 2027–2028.
• Majors include Finance, Economics, Business, Math, Engineering, CS, Statistics, Physics, Data Science.
• Demonstrated academic achievement.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities across one or more Global Markets business areas, including Sales, Trading, Structuring, Capital Markets, and Strategy.
• Conduct market, economic, and industry research to support business initiatives.
• Analyze financial markets, client portfolios, and investment opportunities.
• Assist with financial analysis, quantitative modeling, and presentation materials.
• Support the development of client solutions and strategic projects.
• Collaborate with professionals across Global Markets and other Corporate & Investment Banking teams.
• Participate in professional development activities and networking opportunities throughout the internship.
