Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or Master of Laws degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house practice.
• Combination experience in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Incident Management.
• Strong experience in Legal Writing and drafting.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings, events, and or training.

Responsibilities

• Addresses legal issues in day-to-day operations with guidance from experienced attorneys.
• Develops legal knowledge and practical skills across writing, research, contract interpretation, negotiation, advocacy, and client communication.
• Develops specialization in specific areas of the law.
• Gains a general understanding of the company’s business operations.
• Works on problems of moderate scope and routine tasks.
• Handles simple legal matters with minimal instruction, including research and routine documents.
• Determines courses of action based on precedent and guidelines.
• Pursues educational opportunities and mentorship to increase legal knowledge.
