As Corporate Counsel you will help develop our corporate and securities legal strategy, ensuring we stay ahead in a constantly evolving tech landscape.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

• Ensure the Company remains compliant with all applicable corporate and securities laws and regulations, including potential future SEC requirements.
• Lead the preparation of SEC filings.
• Support review of earnings related materials, including earnings releases, presentations, and other public-facing corporate communications.
• Build and maintain processes and infrastructure, such as playbooks, templates, metrics, and self-serve tools, to help scale the legal function.
• Partner with other critical stakeholders across accounting, finance, people and communications.
• Support the management of outside counsel on various matters, as needed.
• Support and lead special projects as requested.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have/are:

• 5+ years of legal experience at a top tier law firm and in-house legal department; you should have a J.D. and be a current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
• Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and business judgment; an ability to distill complex issues and concisely explain why it matters.
• Proactive, driven, and adaptable; you should be able to prioritize and balance multiple projects, path-find, and recalibrate advice in view of shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk tolerance.
  
  

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

• Self awareness around what you know and what you don’t know. You should have a sense of curiosity and desire to learn what you don’t know

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):

$180,000—$308,000 USD
