Job summary

Mission Critical Group in Frisco, TX seeks a Corporate Controller to lead the corporate accounting team and own the close process for all entities. You will drive policy, process, and control improvements across the enterprise and partner with tax, treasury, and FP&A to deliver accurate numbers.

You will oversee audits, ensure GAAP compliance, and guide a scalable accounting function during rapid growth and acquisitions in diverse sectors. Office-based with occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; active CPA required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles and external audits.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual close under GAAP.
• Drive faster close with standardized calendars, checklists, and automation.
• Oversee GL, consolidations, intercompany, fixed assets, leases, payroll, accruals, reconciliations.
• Oversee centralized AP with strong internal controls and fraud prevention.
• Own external audit processes and liaise with auditors.
• Develop policies and guidance on critical accounting topics (ASC 606, leases).
• Mentor operating unit controllers and accounting teams for scalable growth.
• Lead accounting for acquisitions and integration into the close, COA, and systems.
