Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required.
• At least 7 years of experience in corporate treasury or finance roles.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end close.
• Significant experience with allocations of shared costs.
• External audit experience preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience desirable.

Aufgaben

• Oversees the Accounting Department operations, aligning structures, systems, and staffing with goals.
• Partner with VP of Accounting and CFO to design and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Directs transactional accounting operations including AP, GL, reconciliations, balance sheet management, fixed assets, leases, intercompany, payroll, tax filings.
• Ensures timely, GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; coordinates audits.
• Maintains ERP system integrity and supports budgeting and forecasting processes; provides insights to leadership.
• Drives process improvements, strengthens internal controls, and enhances financial reporting accuracy.
