As they expand nationally, they’re seeking a world-class Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function through its next phase of scale.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, ideal for a Controller with deep accounting expertise and a track record of success in high-growth, product-based businesses. You’ll take full ownership of the accounting infrastructure, lead a lean team, and work cross-functionally to improve processes, optimize systems, and ensure compliance as the organization prepares for further expansion and potential transaction events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all core accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Oversee and refine inventory accounting processes across multiple channels (wholesale, eCommerce, DTC)
• Ensure GAAP compliance and readiness for external audits, tax filings, and investor reporting
• Optimize and implement systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) to support growth and data visibility
• Collaborate closely with FP&A, supply chain, and operations to ensure accurate financial forecasting and alignment
• Manage external auditors, banking relationships, and risk assessments
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team as the company scales

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a Controller, Director of Accounting, or Assistant Controller capacity
• Strong foundation in public accounting (Big 4 or Tier 2) and CPA required
• Demonstrated success in a PE-backed, product-based company (CPG, food & bev, apparel, lifestyle, etc.)
• Deep expertise in inventory accounting and familiarity with complex supply chain environments
• Experienced in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and process optimization
• Analytical, solutions-oriented, and capable of building structure in a fast-evolving business
