Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

An industry leading manufacturing organization is actively seeking a Controller to add to their team. This organization has been rapidly growing over the last decade and has a strong financial position. The Controller position will report directly to the CFO while overseeing the plant accounting and finance group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the quarterly and year-end audit with the external auditors
• Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
• Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and related footnotes
• Perform cash projections to effectively manage cash balances and maximize the return on any excess cash balances
• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Accurate and timely production of all financial information
• Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience in progressive roles.
• 3+ years of leadership/managerial experience within manufacturing.
