Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Corporate Controller. This company is looking for someone with 15+ years of accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and strategic leadership experience.

The Corporate Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial reporting integrity.
• Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax compliance requirements.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development.
• Implement and optimize financial systems, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Other duties as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
• 15+ years of accounting experience.
