Job summary

AccruePartners in Charlotte, NC seeks a senior accounting leader to oversee the full accounting cycle across multiple sites, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting for the organization.

You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, focus on reducing close time and increasing efficiency, and provide mentorship to the accounting team. You’ll partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic financial insights that drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• 7–10 years of professional accounting experience with multisite operations.
• Proven ability to reduce close time and implement process improvements.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, internal controls and compliance.

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field
• Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant)
• 7–10 years of experience of professional accounting experience, with expertise in multisite operations and services-based businesses.
• Proven ability to reduce close time and implement process improvements in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership experience, capable of managing and developing accounting teams while addressing resource gaps.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and compliance, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting.
