We are looking for a high-energy Corporate Controller to lead our client's accounting team and ensure timely month-end close processes. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is highly visible to executive management and our private equity sponsor. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and skilled at balancing team workload to deliver accurate financial reports and analysis.

Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid

Job Functions: Accounting/Auditing, Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Mentor an accounting team of four, including an Assistant Controller, Accounts Payable, and two staff accountants.
• Close Calendar: Manage reporting using a 4/4/5 close calendar.
• Consolidations: Perform P/L and Balance Sheet consolidations and review intercompany eliminations.
• Analytical Support: Collaborate with the FP&A Manager for flux analysis and management packages.
• Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process for mid-size companies with revenues up to $120M.
• US GAAP: Ensure proficiency in US GAAP accounting, including ASC 842.
• Tax Support: Prepare working files for annual income tax filings.
• Statutory Filings: Assist with state statutory filings for payroll withholding and quarterly/annual filings.
• Audit Liaison: Lead third-party financial audits, acting as the liaison between auditors and the business.
• Project Accounting: Manage project accounting and costing for industrial services.
• Treasury Management: Oversee treasury and liquidity management, including a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls strategies.
• Budgeting: Prepare and review annual budgets and KPIs.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Interact effectively with HR, IT, Fleet Management, Operations, Risk, Billing, and Payroll.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in US GAAP.
• Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
