Job summary

Balchem, headquartered in Montvale, NJ, seeks an experienced paralegal to join the Legal Department. You will handle corporate entity management, SEC/EDGAR filings, insurance coordination, and compliance training administration with counsel support.

The role blends substantive legal work with hands-on administrative duties in a hybrid environment. The position requires a college diploma (or equivalent) and at least seven years of experience; ABA-approved paralegal program strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent with at least seven years of experience.
• ABA-approved paralegal program strongly preferred.
• Experience in a corporate legal department preferred.
• Ability to manage corporate entity records, filings, and related tasks.
• Strong drafting, research, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Corporate entity management including maintaining all corporate books.
• Draft resolutions in conjunction with counsel and liaise with non-U.S. entities.
• Maintain registrations and renewals for SEC/EDGAR filings.
• Coordinate insurance matters and training program administration.
• Prepare routine legal documents and provide admin support to attorneys.
