The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Ohio is seeking an associate communications specialist to craft and edit communications for internal associates and independent agents. You will write, edit, and coordinate content across multiple channels to support business partners and strengthen our brand.

Bring a degree in communications or related field, 1+ year in a similar role, and a willingness to learn about workflows, standards, and our culture of service.

Qualifications

• Degree in communication, English, journalism or related field.
• 1+ year in a similar professional role (preferred).
• Insurance industry knowledge (personal, life or business) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit content for internal and external audiences.
• Support business units by meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
• Compose stories of associates delivering service excellence to agents and policyholders.
• Share information with agents and policyholders in a simple, digestible way.
• Manage content for the intranet and coordinate with teams.
• Follow approval processes for content reviews.
• Communicate strategic messages to ensure staff understand why their work matters.
• Interview participants for company videos and features.
• Adapt tone to reach different audiences.

Corporate Communications seeks an associate communications specialist to serve our business partners. Variety versus routine will fill your days as you write, edit, collaborate and coordinate communications for multiple audiences, including internal associates and the independent insurance agents who represent Cincinnati Insurance.

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Bring Education Or Experience From

• a degree in communication, English, journalism or related field
• one or more years working in a similar role in a professional setting – preferred but not required
• a position in the insurance industry with knowledge of personal, life or business insurance – preferred but not required
