Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for our Northwest Arkansas corporate locations. The role focuses on protecting personnel and assets, enforcing policies, and responding to emergencies with professionalism.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, controlling access, reporting incidents, and coordinating with local authorities. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and a schedule that spans nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 months in security, emergency services, military, loss prevention, customer service, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to security policies and enforce company standards.
• Provide tactical responses to emergencies and administer medical aid if needed.
• Guide security measures and assist employees and visitors during incidents.
• Perform building patrols and log unusual activity and issues.
• Grant access to employees and log temporary credentials.
• Identify and report accidents or suspicious activities.
• Serve as liaison with law enforcement and officials.
• Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
• Comply with post-specific responsibilities on the NWA campus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
