Job summary

Unum's summer internship program offers hands-on experience across Finance, Communications, Human Resources and Underwriting, with a 10-week immersion starting in June 2027. Interns work on meaningful, real projects that have immediate business impact.

You'll participate in weekly workshops, cross-functional challenges, and mentor-led development. Applicants must be enrolled in a college degree program (Spring 2027 graduates welcome) with a 3.0 GPA and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited college degree program or be a Spring 2027 graduate
• 3.0 GPA
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and on-campus involvement
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel software applications
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed on project work
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work 40 hours per week during regular business hours and adhere to Unum's hybrid work policy

Responsibilities
