Job Overview

This year-round, paid internship position at Unum focuses on completing assigned work items in a timely manner while ensuring high-quality service to business partners. Interns engage in operations, strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality transactional support to business areas with a focus on productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Develop effective partnerships and collaborate with various departments as required.
  • Act as a team player—backing up peers, addressing conflict constructively, and giving and receiving feedback.
  • Strictly adhere to privacy guidelines and perform other duties as assigned or as opportunities arise.

Work Hours & Commitment

Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Employees may work up to 40 hours per week during school vacations or breaks based on business needs. Minimum nine-month commitment to the internship program.

Salary

Base salary range: $33,200.00 - $52,000.00.
