A2Z Builders, a premier Class A general contractor, seeks a Corporate Bookkeeper to own financial records and compliance for multiple high-volume projects. This onsite role balances ledgers, oversees job costing, and manages vendor and subcontractor workflows to protect margins.

You will collaborate with project managers and executives to reconcile accounts and improve reporting speed with GAAP-aligned processes. A steady, growth-oriented environment awaits in Denver.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional bookkeeping or corporate accounting experience.
• Advanced computer proficiency with QuickBooks, basic accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and high-volume corporate transaction management.
• Ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise financial records by recording and verifying multi-project accounting transactions daily.
• Execute thorough job-costing processes to track vendor invoices, project expenses, and margins.
• Supervise subcontractor compliance data, tracking insurance documents and lien waivers.
• Prepare contractor and vendor payments to ensure on-time project execution.
• Partner with project managers and leadership to reconcile payables and receivables.
• Optimize spreadsheets and accounting systems for transparency and speed.
