Job summary

Fifth Third Bank invites students to join the Corporate Client Coverage team for an 11-week Summer Internship in Charlotte. The program offers hands-on support to Corporate Banking groups, developing financial models, conducting market analyses, and delivering compelling client presentations as part of a high‑caliber team.

You will gain exposure to multiple business areas, learn Fifth Third Bank’s practices, and build professional networks while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with strong finance

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree with strong financial or business background
• Graduation date between December 2027 - May 2028 ONLY
• Minimum 3.3 GPA required
• Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial analysis, corporate finance and financial markets
• Good working knowledge of financial modeling and valuation
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to draw conclusions based on financial data.
• Strong presentation and organization skills.
• Process orientation and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Build and understand complex financial models.
• Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight.
• Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other relevant presentations to support the effort of the team.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Develop good working relationships with peers and seniors in Credit, Capital Markets and the rest of the organization.
• Manage priorities while working on a number of high priority opportunities simultaneously.
• Complete basic credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently.
• Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal and external software programs.
