Fifth Third Bank is offering a Summer 2027 Finance and Accounting Internship in Cincinnati. The program provides hands-on experience across finance and accounting tracks, with mentorship and exposure to senior leadership. Housing assistance is available for eligible interns.

Interns will learn Fifth Third Bank's business practices, work on real projects, and develop skills to pursue a permanent role in commercial banking.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Must be a rising senior (Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 grad).
• Campus involvement/leadership experience preferred.
• Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred.
• Ability to complete both guided and self-directed learning activities.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial information.

Responsibilities

• Build, analyze and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Provide analysis for monthly forecasting process for the business.
• Support the annual budgeting process.
• Perform financial variance analysis to identify trends in the business.
