Job summary

Entergy Aviation is seeking a highly skilled FAA Commercial Rated Pilot to manage flight operations, ensure safety, and uphold regulatory compliance for company-owned aircraft. The role requires extensive flight experience, weather evaluation, and rigorous preflight/postflight procedures.

Expect travel up to 75% with duties at MSY and related locations, including maintaining aircraft readiness, weight and balance calculations, and coordination with PIC for safe flight operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field plus 3+ years of FAA Commercial Rated Pilot flight experience.
• 1,500 hours Total Flight Time; 500 hours Turbine Time; 500 hours Multi-Engine Time; 200 hours Instrument Time.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience; 2,500 hours Total Flight Time; 1,000 hours Multi-Engine Time; 250 hours Instrument Time.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Aviation Safety Management System and ensures safety of passengers and aircraft.
• Obtains weather and NOTAMs; makes go/no-go decisions based on conditions.
• Conducts preflight and postflight inspections; ensures aircraft is airworthy and properly documented.
