Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Tech in New Orleans to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine upkeep on company aircraft. You will maintain logbooks, maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with FAA rules and NBAA/VAI practices.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, long shifts, weekend/holiday availability, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts on an alternating monthly schedule with rotating three-day weekends.
• Must be available for day or evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and after-hour callouts.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and general upkeep of aircraft.
• Keeps aircraft clean and maintains logbooks and maintenance program documentation.
• Maintains electronic libraries, spare parts inventory, and receiving documents.
• Maintains required licenses and certificates for maintenance duties.
• Ensures safe ground handling, tool control, and adherence to safety practices.
• Participates in Safety Management System and incident/accident reporting.
• Completes administrative and training requirements in a timely manner.
