Morae is seeking two experienced Corporate Attorneys to support the global governance team on a 14–16 week contract, starting in early November. Remote within the US with US business hours; Central or Eastern time strongly preferred.

Candidates will structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and active M&A documents, collaborate with in‑house counsel and stakeholders, and contribute to governance matters across a global organization.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of legal experience across corporate law.
• Large law firm training with in-house exposure.
• Proven drafting and negotiation in complex commercial agreements and M&A.
• Corporate governance experience is a plus.

Corporate Attorney – Governance, Commercial & M&A (Contract) | 2 Positions | Remote, US (Central/Eastern Time)

We are seeking two experienced Corporate Attorneys to support the global governance legal team of a leading global organization on a 14–16 week contract engagement starting in early November. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned corporate lawyer with strong commercial and M&A experience who enjoys hands‑on drafting and negotiation and wants to work on complex, high‑value matters within a sophisticated global legal function.

The Engagement

• 2 positions available, with aligned start dates so both attorneys can onboard and train together
• Duration: 14–16 weeks, starting early November
• Remote within the US, working US business hours (Central or Eastern time strongly preferred)
• Full schedule overlap between the two attorneys isn't required

What You’ll Do

• Structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements
• Take an active drafting and negotiating role on complex M&A transactions
• Support the global governance legal team on corporate and governance‑related matters
• Work closely with in‑house counsel and business stakeholders on high‑priority matters
• Support knowledge sharing and continuity across the team

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of legal experience
• Large law firm training, ideally combined with in‑house experience
• Deep experience in complex commercial structuring, drafting and negotiation
• Proven M&A experience in an active drafting and negotiation role, not review‑only
• Corporate governance experience is an advantage
• Strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to get up to speed quickly
