The People Of: Professional Services in Palo Alto is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate (3–4 years PQE) with VC or tech/life sciences experience to work on start-ups, financings, IPOs, and public company reporting.

You will collaborate closely with clients, manage junior staff, and provide governance counsel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of corporate transactional experience with VC or tech/life sciences clients.
• Experience drafting and negotiating financing and corporate agreements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and drafting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support VC/private financings, IPOs, and other corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate corporate agreements and related documentation.
• Supervise and coordinate associates and paralegals on deal execution.
• Advise clients and investors on corporate governance and reporting.
