Job summary

A leading regional law firm is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join its private equity and fund formation team. You will represent fund sponsors and institutional investors on transactional and regulatory matters. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong drafting and communication skills, along with bar admission. This is a hybrid role allowing work from various East Coast offices, with competitive salary and a path to partnership.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment management and private fund formation.
  • Significant experience drafting fund documentation (PPMs, LPAs, etc.).
  • Exposure to investment adviser regulatory issues under the Advisers Act.
  • Experience with family offices, institutional investors, and/or fund sponsors is a plus.
  • Strong writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bar admission in jurisdiction of practice.

Location: Northeast / Mid‑Atlantic (Hybrid – CT, MA, NJ, NY, RI, DC, or FL)

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in investment management and private fund formation.
  • Significant experience drafting fund documentation (PPMs, LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, etc.).
  • Exposure to investment adviser regulatory issues under the Advisers Act.
  • Experience with family offices, institutional investors, and/or fund sponsors – a plus.
  • Strong writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bar admission in jurisdiction of practice.
